A California native, lemonade berry is a drought tolerant shrub to small tree. It's related to mango having the same glossy red new growth followed by abundant clusters of very sour fruits. Fruits are like a goji berry covered in a sour sauce. Refreshing to snack on or make a lemonade drink.
